Nine Mile Recreation Trails
2025 / 2026 Season Sponsors
Thank you to everyone who supported our volunteer ski trail program through donations, trail work, and encouragement during the 2025/2026 winter season. Your generosity helps cover the costs of grooming, equipment maintenance, fuel, signage, and other expenses that keep our trails in great condition for everyone to enjoy.
One of the things we value most is being able to offer free access to our trails. Unlike many Nordic ski clubs that rely on membership fees, we have been able to keep our trails open and accessible to all thanks to the support of our community.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to our major sponsors and donors whose exceptional generosity has made a significant impact on our trail program. We are proud to recognize these community-minded businesses and organizations and are grateful for their commitment to outdoor recreation in our region.
If you enjoy the trails and would like to help us continue providing free access, please consider making a donation. Every contribution, large or small, helps ensure that we can maintain and improve the trails while keeping them available to everyone.
Thank you for helping make our trail system a community resource for all to enjoy.

Next time you're out on the trails, keep an eye out for our Donation signs with a QR code. This will take you right to our donation page which allows you to select the amount you'd like to donate. You can pay with ease via apple pay, google pay, or credit card mid-ski!
Most ski trails around the province will require an annual membership or daily drop in fees to use their trails, which can range anywhere from $20 - 100 per person.
Your donations help us to avoid having membership fees!

The trails are maintained by volunteers with the use of the LMC Snow Cat from the old Grizzly Ridge Downhill Ski area, which provide wide packaged trails to enjoy.
Volunteers clear brush and set tracks. Tracks are set to the side for cross country skiers, which provide plenty of room for your dogs, snowshoeing, and hiking.
All the trails are clearly marked along the way with detailed maps. This allows you to plan out your route for the day and give you peace of mind you haven't gotten lost!
Volunteers also make beautiful trail markers! Look for them along the trails.
